Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching:

Interactive Training and Support Tools

Thank you for participating in this CPRT research study!

Your participation is essential to our overall goals to make CPRT more accessible to school-based teams.

Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching (CPRT) is classroom-based adaptation of Pivotal Response Training, an evidence-based practice for autistic students that falls under the category of Naturalistic Interventions.

CPRT was designed in partnership with teachers and administrators to best meet the needs that teachers face in the classroom. Teachers who use CPRT have reported benefits in student motivation, generalization, and maintenance of academic, behavior, communication, and social skills. Learn more about CPRT.

This particular study has two primary aims:

Compare distance vs. In-person workshop opportunities for learning CPRT.

Develop a tool to help teachers individualize their use of CPRT to maximize benefits for their students.
